Possibly the strongest of the re-entries found on the Rose Carmine shades.
Doubling in the lower left and the left 3. Minor doubling in the lower right. There is strong doubling in the 16 area between 4 and 5 o'clock around the cameo area. In the upper right, the ball is doubled as are the G and E of POSTAGE.
A Project for someone interested.......it would be very interesting to find this CPV on a shade(s) other than the Rose Carmines of 1888-89.
An earlier (Montreal) shade would indicate that the plates used to print the Rose Carmine shade were previously used in Montreal.
A later (2nd Ottawa) shade would indicate that the plates used to print the Rose Carmnie shade were subsequently used in Ottawa.
