- There is a similar variety on the One Cent.
- It is likely that this plate damage was quite quickly repaired.
- From the example that Earl Noss has provided, we can see part of an upper inscription. It is very likely that this CPV is from position 2 of one of the 2nd Ottawa plates of 200.
